Description 

The Allen-Bradley 2711P-RP1 is an Allen-Bradley Logic module used in compatibility with PanelView Plus operator terminals. This logic module is a spare unit for existing logic module of a PanelView Plus 700-1500 operator terminals. It comes with a Random Access Memory (RAM) amounting to 64 MB and Flash memory amounting to 64 MB. This logic module is provided with One (1) serial, Two (2) USB and One (1) Ethernet interface ports.

The 2711P-RP1 is a logic module from Allen-Bradley. This logic module is a compatible replacement part for existing logic module within the PanelView Plus 700-1500 operator terminal range. This module hosts the communication interface, power supply circuitry and terminals, memory module and provides connectivity to display modules, communication modules and other components.

When properly installed, the 2711P-RP1 is attached at the back of the display module through the provided slot connectors. It is delivered with internal memories pre-allocated for 64 MB Random Access Memory (RAM), and 64 MB Flash memories. The Random Access Memory (RAM) is utilized during the runtime environment, responsible for providing smooth operation of the terminal while the Flash memory is used to store HMI related system and document files such as application backup, manuals, recipes, logs, reports and other system files.

When installing this logic module, never touch the electronic circuitry. Additionally, proper grounding is necessary to protect the device from electrostatic discharge. Handle this device with a properly installed grounding strip and place this module to a grounded table or return the component inside the anti-static bag when not in use.

The 2711P-RP1 may be used with PanelView Plus 700, 1000, 1250, and 1500 operator terminals. As functional PanelView operator terminals come with a logic module and display module as a minimum, it is a suitable replacement module to the pre-installed logic module.

The 2711P-RP1 module is a 24VDC powered device. The embedded communication interfaces include a single Ethernet port, One (1) 9-Pin mini DIN RS232 port and Two (2) USB ports.

This benefits a single platform application with 100 to 240 Volts AC operating power and 64MB of non-volatile memory. The 2711P-RP1A logic module comes with various status indicators for identifying results.

The Allen-Bradley 2711P-RP1A can come up with efficient productivity for simple and complex applications. The 2711P-RP1A uses a 3-position terminal block, this logic block determines the block of the terminal. It is not compatible with PanelView Plus 6 terminals because it is only compatible with PanelView Plus Terminals. Dedicated slots for USB connections and Ethernet connection options are available as well. It is generally advised to remove the communication module before replacing the 2711P-RP1A.
