The Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation 2711P-T6M5D terminal is a PanelView grayscale terminal. Because it is a grayscale terminal, the 2711P-T6M5D terminal supports a fixed palette of 4 colors which are all shades of gray. The terminal is capable of displaying, controlling, and monitoring an application. For communication purposes, the 2711P-T6M5D terminal features an RS-232 port and a high-speed USB port. Note that the RS-232 port supports multiple vendor PLC protocols. As such, the 2711P-T6M5D terminal can be used for both basic and high-end applications.
