The 2094-PRS2 power rail is a 2-axis slim type of power rail. It is manufactured by Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation in the Kinetix 6000 series. The 2094-PRS2 slim power rail can host 1 integrated axis module and 1 regular axis module at a time. If it is used without a regular axis module, the slot for the regular axis module should be covered by a slot filler module for safety. The 2094-PRS2 slim power rail is designed to be slimmer and lighter than standard Kinetix 6000 power rails.

The 2094-PRS2 Kinetix 6000 Slim Power Rail is a 230V or 430V electronic device which supports a single IAM and an additional AM module, shunt module, or a slot filler module. The main function of the 2094-PRS2 Kinetix 6000 is as a component of the Kinetix 6000 drive system that transfers power and signals from the IAM to the AM module, the shunt module, or the slot filler module. It has a converter slot on the left side of the rail and 2 inverter slots that can only accommodate a single IAM module and one additional module (AM, shunt, or the slot filler). Like every power rail in the 2094PRxx series, the slot pin position is covered and protected from any unwanted outside agent that may damage the slot pin. This limits its functionality.

The 2094-PRS2 is designed to sustain its normal function at up to 1000 meters (3281 feet) altitude without de-rating, and at a surrounding temperature of 0-50 °C (32-122 °F) it can operate at a maximum shock of 15G. It is designed to maintain its optimal function at a non-condensing relative humidity of 0-95% and it can be stored at a temperature between -40 and 70 °C (-40 and 158 °F). The 2094-PRS2 is c-UL-us certified to operate in the US and is IEC 61508: Part 1-7:2000 certified for functional safety. The 2094-PRS2 has product dimensions of 205.7mm (8.1in) x 124.5mm (4.9in) and a weight of 1.59Kg (3.5lb).
