Allen-Bradley 2080-LC20-20AWB Micro820 20 I/O ENet/IP Controller

The 2080-LC20-20AWB is a Micro 82 Programmable Logic Controller (PLC). It is part of Allen-Bradley’s Micro 80 series. This controller is specifically designed for use in micro and small automation requirements This PLC comes with a small footprint and supports direct panel or DIN rail mounting. It supports a variety of IEC 61131-3 Programming languages such as Ladder Diagram (LD), Function Block Diagram (FBD), and Structured Text (ST). It also supports the creation of user-defined function blocks to optimize user programs. It supports execution of up to 10K program steps or instructions and comes with a built-in memory amounting to 20Kbytes wherein up to 400 bytes of non-volatile memory. Floating-point math calculation at a length of 32-bit and 64-bit is supported by this controller as well as implementing of Proportional + Integral Derivative (PID) control. The 2080-LC20-20AWB is pre-installed with embedded I/O circuits such as Eight (8) 120 VAC, Four (4) 24VDC / VAC and Seven (7) Normally Open (N.O.) relay outputs Four (4) 0-10 VDC analog inputs that are shared with 24 VDC; Seven (7) 24 VDC sourcing outputs and One (1) 0-10 VDC analog output channel. I/O expansion is supported wherein up to Two (2) expansion modules can be installed. The integrated communication interface to this module includes One 91) Rs232/ 485 combo port that supports Common Industrial Protocol (CP) Serial, Modbus RTU, ASCII, and One (1) Ethernet I/P class 3 interface supporting Modbus TCP protocol.

The 2080-LC20-20AWB provides 20-point controllers and is designed to provide an embedded 0 to 10 Volt, non-isolated, four-channel analog input, and one channel analog output for speed control of an AC drive. This programmable controller communicates through EtherNet/IP and RS232 ports. It is also installed with a 10k thermistor temperature input. Additionally, it supports program download via USB with an optional 3.5-inch cable. It can function as an RTU (remote terminal unit) for remote devices via the support for Modbus RTU and TCP, comes with a built-in Real Time Clock (RTC).
