Description
The Allen-Bradley 2080-LC20-20QBBR controller is a device which belongs to the PLC controller series and that is specifically designed for small standalone equipment and remote computerization projects with Ethernet and serial ports. The product can function as a remote terminal unit (RTU) for all remote machines that can use Modbus RTU and TCP. The controller comes with embedded support for four thermistor temperature inputs for use as a direct digital controller (DDC) for creating management systems.
The 2080-LC20-20QBBR comes with an implanted micro SD card slot that is used to store a large amount of data that cannot fit into the memory for applications that need data logs and recipes. All the data files are stored in the form of CSV texts so that they can be viewed and edited easily. The micro SD card helps to back up and restore the program and can be used to duplicate the program on numerous machines.
Additionally, the 2080-LC20-20QBBR has a remote LCD that links to the controller’s implanted RS232 port and serves as a vital accessory for the controller. The controller comes with 4 or 8 lines of ASCII text and a palpable keypad that can serve as an HMI. The system menu used in this series is accessible in several languages to enable the direct viewing and editing of the controller adjustable, whereby the Ethernet address used in the controller can be set from the menu.
The 2080-LC20-20QBBR controller provides a 12-24V DC input, four configurable analog inputs with a thermistor voltage reference and a power output of 7-24V DC. Other important features include the embedded Ethernet port, two plug-in slots with RTB terminals, a slot to support a MicroSD card, and the embedded RTC.
